The Academy’s Jazz Department has been steadily turning out some of the most acclaimed young composers currently shaping the contemporary scene. F-IRE Collective founder and Academy Rhythmic Skills professor Barak Schmool directs World of Rhythm, a 15-piece ensemble from the rhythmic skills class, introducing music from four corners of the world.
